Daimler in talks to build plant in Russia’s Leningrad region

ST. PETERSBURG, Dec 4 (PRIME) -- St. Petersburg is holding negotiations with Daimler on the construction of a plant in the surrounding Leningrad Region of Russia, a representative of the St. Petersburg investment committee told PRIME on Thursday.

“We’ve helped the industrial committee to choose sites for this project, including in Shushary (a municipal settlement in the city of St. Petersburg),” he said.

Financial details and schedule of the project were not disclosed.
